Filmye’Own Academy staff member receives prestigious award!

Tiffany Herndon of Filmye’Own Academy has been named as one of the recipients to receive the prestigous W.O.W.W. Award on Nov.1 2008 in Atlanta. Ms. Herndon is not only an up and coming filmmaker, she is also the Director of Operations and Co Founder for the Entertainment Experience Academy “Filmye’Own” located in the heart of Atlanta.

Ms. Herndon’s passion for film has afforded her the opportunity to learn and work with some of the entertainment industry’s dynamic talent. She co-wrote and directed the highly anticipated Drama Series “Saving Children’s Lives”which is being screened in the Urban Filmmakers Festival in Atlanta on October 18th .

Tiffany K. Herndon: Casting Director/Writer

Skies are the limit when it comes to the talents of Tiffany K. Herndon. As Casting and Operating Director of Film Ye’ Own Entertainment Academy, and Vent the show, Tiffany has been breaking entertainment barriers consistently. Currently, Tiffany is also one of Executive Producers & Creator of “SAVING CHILDREN’S LIVES” alongside her business partner Lomil Truitt the Director and Executive Producer of “CAUGHT RAW AND UNCUT” Dvd, the highly anticipated suspense drama series for Film Ye’ Own Productions. During the course of her entertainment career Ms. Herndon has studied, performed, and taught Dramatic Arts all around the world including art districts such as Amsterdam, the Netherlands Berlin, Germany Milan, Italy, Paris, France, NYC,and LA. Moreover, Tiffany has sat on the casting board for the movie “Enemy of the State” starring Gene Hackman and Will Smith; served as a publicist to Kevin Byrd; been a Production Assistant to networks including MTV, NBC, and VH1; and contributed to stage plays “False Imprisonment” and “The Angela Davis Story”. As a writer, producer, director, and even photojournalist, Tiffany Herndon enjoys letting her creative juices flow while changing others lives and impacting the arts as we know it. Subsequently, Tiffany serves on the writers board for VENT the show.
